Q.How true is the color on my monitor to the actual tie?

A. We try to make the colors as true as possible on our monitors, but they are only a guide. Monitors vary, light levels vary, different people will see colors differently, even viewing angles may make the colors look different. There are well over one million colors that can be created and seen on a computer monitor. We sell less than 100 colors so there is ample room for variance.

Q. Do you have this color? (Pick a name, somebody has called it a color)

A. Bridal shops, formalwear stores, designers, (us), etc., make up their own names for colors. In many cases we have the same colors under a different name. A good source to compare your color to is the color charts on Wikipedia at the following URL:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_colors . Let us know the name of the color there, tell us it came from Wikipedia and we can compare it to our stock and let you know what we have.

Q. Can I get a quantity discount.

Q. I need these sent overnight, can you do that?

A. Yes, we do, with a few requirements. Purchase orders need to be on the school letterhead, clearly indicate the purchase order number and must be signed by the Principal or his designate. Purchase orders should be faxed from the school to 847-388-4704. Goods will only be shipped to the school address. We do not give quantity discounts when using a purchase order that requires us to wait for payment. Payment is due 15 days after the merchandise ships, sorry, no exceptions.

A. We are generally available to answer the phone between 9 am and 5 pm Central time, Monday through Friday. If you get our voice mail please leave us a message and we will get back to you.

Q. My tie arrived folded and it has a crease in it. What should I do?

A. If it’s a polyester tie, set your iron on the synthetic setting or the next highest setting and iron it. For heavy creases, move the hot iron very slowly over the crease and it should come out in a short time. For silk ties, if it’s not being worn immediately, allow it to hang overnight and many times the creases will come out. If not, use the same procedure for ironing except use the silk setting on your iron. Creases in silk ties will usually come out a little quicker.
